WJW sponsors Sweet Home Chicago, a fundraiser for H.O.M.E.

WJW is proud to be a sponsor for Sweet Home Chicago, a virtual fundraiser for the H.O.M.E. community held on Wednesday, July 28th, from 7:00 – 8:00pm!

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit H.O.M.E.’s intergenerational housing and housing support services for seniors with low-incomes in Chicago.

The event will feature a screening of "There's No Place Like It" (1992), a short film produced by Chicago native Bill Murray, that helped fund the construction of H.O.M.E.’s Nathalie Salmon House. The film will be followed by a discussion about the future of intergenerational housing in Chicago with some of city’s most celebrated affordable housing advocates: Pat Abrams (The Renaissance Collaborative), Jacqueline Boyd (One Roof Chicago and The Care Plan), and Gail Schechter, Executive Director of H.O.M.E. Moderated by renowned WBEZ Senior Producer, Steve Bynum.

Tickets and further info are available on the event website: homeseniors.org/events.
