Culture

Frankly, people like us.

We’re flattered when our clients keep coming back and our staff members stick around for decades. But we’re not too modest to admit there’s a reason for that. At WJW, we’re intentional about embracing ways to improve our workplace, engaging with our community through volunteerism and — when we’re really lucky — even traveling together as a firm.

WJW Staff volunteering

That’s who we are — we’re accessible, approachable and we’re always learning and growing together.

Learning + Doing

On any given day at WJW, you’ll find us gathering to debate design approaches, offering work/life strategies in our Women of WJW group, or catching up around a conference table designed by our founder — it’s all part of belonging to the WJW family.

Exploring

We can’t think of a better way to foster lifelong learning and feed curious minds than travel! To that end, we’ve set out as a team to explore architecture, urban renewal, and community building in places like Toronto, Detroit, Las Vegas, and Auburn University’s Rural Studio.

Helping

Our team volunteerism helps provide lift to all kinds of communities. Whether it’s building and nurturing a community garden at the Hope Manor Apartments, taking part in a charity walk or bike ride or bringing architecture experience to high schoolers, we believe in giving back.

Working

Could you become a part of the WJW story? If you can picture yourself on a team that’s dedicated to digging into big ideas and better solutions, and having a little fun along the way, we’d love to hear from you.
