A makeover that merges style and substance
At The Intersection of Purpose, Place & People
At WJW, we’re focused on creating real-world architecture that rises above what’s expected. We design purpose-built, intelligent buildings — the kind that solve problems, improve communities and invite everyone inside.
Inspired by the People We Design for and With
We believe that the built environment can change lives, and through wide-ranging work that includes family housing for veterans, mixed-use projects in rural communities, and research-informed design for dementia care, we’ve spent 30 years proving it.
Our work is powered by creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. We listen and ask questions that help us dig deep to find the answers that perfectly fit each WJW project, client, and surrounding community.

WJW turns 30!
WJW’s founders started with a desire to create research-based design solutions that foster true accessibility for all, a mission that seeded our firm with a consistent focus on iteration and exploration and a desire to learn from the people who use our buildings every day. From the beginning, we took those big ideas to heart and ran with them — and we continue the journey.
