Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held for East Bluff Community Homes

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last week for East Bluff Community Homes, celebrating the substantial completion of a project that has transformed 25 vacant lots into 30 units of high-quality affordable housing in Peoria!

Spearheaded by the Peoria Opportunities Foundation, the development includes 20 single-family homes and five duplex rentals that have been designed to be energy-efficient and to fit within the historic context of the neighborhood. Peoria Opportunities Foundation’s Executive Director Jane Genzel spoke at the ceremony, which was also attended by Mayor Rita Ali and other community leaders and elected officials.
