Silver Birch of Kokomo wins a 2018 Senior Housing News Architecture & Design Award

WJW is proud to share our recent news that Silver Birch of Kokomo was named a winner of the Senior Housing News Architecture & Design Awards for Affordable Housing!

The Senior Housing News Architecture & Design Awards recognize cutting-edge design, excellence and innovation in senior living. From the more than 90 organizations that entered their communities in the competition, only nine projects were selected as 2018 SHN Architecture & Design Awards Winners for their unique approaches to senior living design. The competition evaluates communities through a scoring system that looks at various categories including design elements specific to each project type, community integration, amenities and lifestyle features.

Silver Birch of Kokomo is a four-story Residential Care Facility in downtown Kokomo, Indiana, featuring 119 individual studio and one-bedroom apartments. The building program offers a full spectrum of personalized services to help older adults maintain their independence in a supportive and caring environment, and is designed to serve seniors of all financial means.
