Ground breaks at Fox Meadows Independent Living

Construction has started on the Fox Meadows Independent Living development in McLeansboro, IL. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on July 28. The proposed independent seniors development consists of a new construction, two story building with 30 dwelling units, a variety of resident common spaces, and a resident outdoor patio and garden area. It is an affordable housing development financed through IHDA tax credits and is being developed by the local Fox Meadows NFP organization. The site is near the center of town and is next to the gymnasium where NBA Hall of Famer Jerry Sloan spent his high school days. Occupancy is projected for March, 2018.
