Silver Birch of Terre Haute is NGBS Certified!

Silver Birch of Terre Haute in Indiana recently earned 2012 National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Bronze Certification. The project includes 119 units of affordable assisted living for local area seniors and focuses on supporting the wellness of its residents & staff by providing a healthy living environment. Key sustainable features at Silver Birch of Terre Haute include:

  • Energy efficient windows
  • Use of advance air sealing techniques for energy efficiency

  • Low VOC interior paints, sealants, carpets, and adhesives
  • Quiet Exhaust fans remove indoor air pollutants and supply residents with fresh air
