WJW welcomes John!

John joined WJW in May of 2017. Prior to joining WJW, he worked at Chicago-based firm working on a variety of single family, hospitality, restaurant, and manufacturing projects in and around the Chicagoland area. He graduated from Auburn University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Interior Architecture.  While at Auburn, he attended Auburn University’s Rural Studio where he and his team designed and built a Boys & Girls Club in West Alabama.  Upon completing the project, John joined the Rural Studio staff where he spent six years as an Instructor.

John is a firm believer that good design should be available to everyone.  He currently volunteers for the local non-profit food.empowerment.design and enjoys cooking, traveling, and making furniture in his free time.
