Mentoring the next generation of architects, which she pursued as the Mentorship Chair of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students while a student at the University of Michigan. Joi is an avid reader and enjoys watching sports — especially Chicago teams and the Michigan Wolverines — with family and friends. 

Architecture has the ability to improve quality of life and can help to create a more equitable future.
