Michelle presents Accessibility Training seminar for ARCO/Murray

Recently, Michelle presented an Accessibility Training seminar to the multifamily group team members at ARCO/Murray that focused on Accessibility Scoping & Technical Standards related to Multifamily and Assisted Living projects. The group took a deep dive into laws, regulations, & requirements as well as common issues with respect to accessibility. WJW Architects and ARCO/Murray’s Chicago office have cultivated a partnership on a number of Assisted Living Projects to date, including Silver Birch of Kokomo, Silver Birch of Terre Haute, and Silver Birch at Cook Road.

ARCO/Murray’s commitment to long-term learning (as exemplified by their request for this training) and their mindful, detail-oriented approach dovetails well with WJW’s ethos of continual improvement, lifelong education, and user-oriented design.  Through their ongoing partnership, WJW & ARCO/Murray have made some outstanding buildings together, learned a lot from each other’s experience, and even had a bit of fun along the away! Both groups look forward to continued future opportunities to do great work together.
