Hope Manor II Featured in Recent Press about Englewood Girl Scout Troop
From vacant lot to community hub
We were thrilled and heartened to see the recent news stories about Girl Scout Troop #26286 and their cookie sales that have successfully funded their program. The troop meets after school in a building WJW designed, Hope Manor II. The site was vacant land back in 2010, and WJW collaborated with VOA Illinois to create affordable housing for veterans and their families. A key feature of the building is the community room, where the Girl Scouts meet weekly.
