WJW visits the CAC and the Riverwalk

For our summer outing this year, WJW staff gathered downtown at the Chicago River!

First up on our agenda was a visit to the Chicago Architecture Center, where we began by exploring a bit on our own before a special tour of the Energy Revolution exhibit from Co-Curator Doug Farr. Focusing on the climate crisis, Energy Revolution highlights the ways individuals, corporations, city leaders and architects can work toward a carbon-free future, demonstrating how we can actively respond to the crisis by transforming our use of energy in the built environment.

Following the tour, we ventured on to the Riverwalk for refreshments at the Northman, enjoying a beautiful and breezy summer evening together outdoors. A wonderful time was had by all!
