Urban Sketching with Jane

On a recent sunny afternoon in the nearby Ward Park, Jane hosted an Urban Sketching outing for WJW staff – now a favorite activity enjoyed by the group over several occasions!

The park presented a scenic opportunity to sketch many interesting aspects of the city’s architectural details, with views of ornate bridges and buildings in the downtown loop, and other sights within the public space.

In Jane’s words, “Drawing on location, capturing what we see from direct observation, and telling the story of our surroundings is a wonderful practice for architects and those curious about the built environment.”
