WJW welcomes Lauren!

Lauren joined WJW in 2017 after relocating to Chicago. Before joining the team, she worked for ten years at a firm in Philadelphia on a broad range of project types, including healthcare, multi-family apartments, senior housing, and retail centers. She is committed to sustainable design and has prior experience designing projects to green building standards, notably a Passive House senior apartment building. Lauren is a Registered Architect, and earned her license in Pennsylvania in 2011.

Originally from New Jersey, Lauren graduated from Rice University in Houston, TX, earning a Bachelor of Architecture with a double major in Visual Arts. She has volunteered for several years with the ACE Program, mentoring high school students interested in the field of architecture. In her free time, she enjoys running distance races and working on art projects.
