Respected advisor and deft manager of financial, operations, human resources, IT, and marketing sides of WJW, allowing the rest of the staff to focus on architecture and design. Prior experience in the world of fine arts informs his professional services career.
Management of architectural practice and project management; closely integrated with the architectural team at WJW, he ensures that firm business is conducted in a smart, transparent and coordinated manner, brokering strong partnerships with vendors and partners, and ensuring that all business dealings are aligned with WJW values of collaboration, creativity, respect, and integrity.
A champion for the LGBTQ+ community, Herb is currently a SAGEConnect volunteer with Service and Advocacy for LGBT Elders, and is a Certified SAGE National Resource Center on LGBT Aging Education Ambassador. An advocate for education, he also serves as a parent representative on his son's local school council and is the former president of the Albion College alumni board. An active political volunteer, he has helped coordinate and coach thousands of volunteers in peer-to-peer SMS campaigns.
