Jane presents "This is Home" at EFA Conference

At the end of August, Jane and Connor travelled to the Environments for Aging (EFA) Conference in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Jane was selected by EFA to present This is Home: Making Home in Affordable Senior Living Communities. Through ‘This is Home’ Jane explored the opportunities and challenges for older adults in creating a sense of home, through interviews with residents of Supportive Living Communities designed by WJW. The presentation featured Jane’s watercolor paintings, which portray the stories gathered in those interviews, audio recordings of the interviews, and commentary.

Jane has previously presented This is Home with AIA Chicago, and her original series of paintings and interviews were shown as a solo exhibition at Firecat Projects in Chicago.
