Churchview Senior Living Ribbon Cutting

WJW revisits a legacy project in Chicago Lawn.

Mike and Elizabeth recently attended the ribbon cutting for the renovation of Churchview Supportive Living in Chicago Lawn. This is a legacy project for WJW, having been completed originally in the early 2000s. Mike was on the project when it was first built, and when the time came for a 20-year refresh, he oversaw the renovation project!

Some two decades ago, Churchview was one of the first supportive living facility projects for seniors in the city. The 2024 update consists of a moderate (but still significant) rehabilitation of the six-story building, including upgrades to the mechanical systems and new interior finishes of the common areas. Churchview features 86 apartments, a dining room attached to a commercial kitchen, and a salon for residents, among other amenities.

Special thanks to two of our longstanding partners on this and other projects, the Greater Southwest Development Corporation and Gardant Management Solutions! WJW is proud to contribute to a needed update for this important community center.
