WJW Visits Design Museum of Chicago & Riverwalk

For our annual summer outing, WJW headed to the riverfront.

WJW has something of a tradition of celebrating our summer outing at the Chicago Riverwalk. This year we added something new: a visit to the Design Museum of Chicago, located just west of Millennium Park. Staff boarded a Purple Line train to visit the museum as a group and enjoyed exploring the exhibits.

After the museum, we walked over to The Northman Beer & Cider Garden on the Chicago Riverwalk. Folks enjoyed a few rounds of cornhole and camaraderie and then the winners of the WJW Office Olympics were announced - it was a very close competition with Team Gold Coast taking the gold medal by a slim margin.

With beautiful balmy weather and the festive of summer atmosphere of downtown Chicago in August, this was a summer outing for the books!
