Welcome to the New WJW Architects

Dear Friends and Partners,

Worn Jerabek Wiltse Architects was formed in 1991 with a desire to create research-based design solutions that foster true accessibility for all.

Thirty years ago, Bill Worn and Diane Baker founded the firm with important ideals — and we’ve acted upon them. Today we’re proud to say we’ve successfully completed more than 400 projects in the Midwest; including more than 8,000 units of senior living, supportive housing, healthcare and community developments, affordable housing, mixed-use, and renovation and adaptive reuse developments.

But our work is so much more than what we build — it’s who we are.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce that, having weathered a global pandemic, a number of recessions and 30 years of personal milestones, WJW is celebrating a landmark 30th anniversary in 2021 with a new website and a new name that reflects both a proud heritage and a forward focus: WJW Architects.

Our focus on innovation and human-centered solutions has been central to our mission since day one, and we’re excited to carry these values with us into the future of our firm, even as we welcome change and growth. The new WJW Architects represents an evolution of ideas, new leaders emerging in the field, and fresh approaches to the way we work and interact in the world around us. Our new website reflects this new vision of ourselves and our work — and gives you a chance to get to know us better.

As we celebrate our next chapter, we want to recognize the many people along the way who have helped bring us to this moment. Thank you to our valued partners, clients and peers, many of whom have become tried and true friends. Your trust and collaboration over the years allows us to flourish and build meaningful work together.
