Recovery and Rebuilding

Marketplace Commons, our first new construction project in Kentucky, is underway!

Marketplace Commons is an affordable family housing development featuring six buildings with 48 units, community space, and ample outdoor recreation areas. Its location, Dawson Springs, was in a part of western Kentucky that was devastated by tornadoes in 2021. This development is part of a broader recovery effort to rebuild the communities in the area, including providing quality, affordable workforce housing that is currently in very short supply.

Thank you to our project partners Bywater Development Group, Beacon / SOCAYR, and Altman Charter. Construction will be complete in 2026. Stay tuned for more updates on this project!
