Tiger Senior Apartments receives 2021 Landmarks Illinois Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award

Tiger Senior Apartments has been named a winner of the 2021 Landmarks Illinois Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Awards!

A recipient of the Award for Adaptive Reuse, the 100-year-old former Paris High School has been honored as an outstanding example of excellence in Illinois historic preservation. Now providing 42 units of affordable housing for seniors as Tiger Senior Apartments, the school’s historical significance within the community has been carefully preserved and restored, ensuring that it remains a Paris landmark for generations to come.

The nine winners will be honored at an in-person and virtual ceremony in October.
