Marillac Food Pantry Volunteering
WJW's Volunteering Committee headed over to the Marillac Social Center.
Joi, Jane, Liezel, Kolbi, and Keith recently volunteered at the Marillac St. Vincent Food Pantry. Staff from our Volunteer Committee organize volunteering days at the pantry 3-4 times per year. The WJW crew assisted with set up, helped neighbors shop, bagged groceries, and restocked the shelves.
WJW has had a longstanding partnership with Marillac St. Vincent. The food pantry is part of the Marillac Social Center. WJW designed a renovation for the building that was completed in 2014. It is always meaningful to spend time in the spaces we've designed with the people who use those spaces, and our recent volunteering day was no exception! Check out MSV's website for more information on the programs and services they offer.
