ARCO/Murray's Bike Ride for the Kids

With great weather, great turnout, and some furry friends, the annual ARCO/Murray cycling event was a great success!

Michelle and Todd recently volunteered at Water Stop #2 for ARCO/Murray's annual Bike Ride for the Kids. WJW was a Water Stop sponsor for the event. Bike Ride for the Kids is an event to raise money for STEM programs and encourage youth to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.

It was a great afternoon supporting 70 riders two-thirds of the way through their 100 mile ride from Chicago to South Bend with food, water, gatorade, light first aid if needed, and some respite before hopping back on their bikes for their final 30 miles. As a bonus, the water stop was at a farm with lots of barn cats, a friendly donkey, and a mule!
