Heidi and Liezel attend grand opening for Martin Avenue Apartments

Heidi and Liezel recently attended the official ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony to celebrate the expansion and remodeling of Martin Avenue Apartments in Naperville, Illinois.

Officiated by Naperville’s Mayor Steve Chirico and hosted by the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, the event was a lively celebration featuring speeches, building tours, and a tent set up in the courtyard with refreshments and live music. Heidi and Linda Brace of Evergreen Real Estate Group were honored by Dave Weeks, President of the Board of Naperville Elderly Homes, and Martin Avenue Apartments also presented the new official designation of the main common area as “Hacker Hall,” named to honor three generations of the Hacker family who have all provided decades of service to the building.

With the renovation of its original three-story building and a newly constructed five-story addition, Martin Avenue Apartments now provides 190 much-needed units of affordable housing for seniors in Naperville. The project received National Green Building Standard certification and was also featured in Seniors Housing Business and the Summer 2021 issue of EFA Magazine.

WJW is pleased to be a team member on this project that residents can be proud to call home!
