Missing Middle submissions showcased at design symposium

Todd, Elizabeth, Albert, Liezel, Andrew, and Connor recently attended the event “Filling the Gap: Affordable Housing Crisis Through Design” at the Metropolitan Planning Council in Chicago, which featured a panel discussion and showcase of the winning submissions for the Missing Middle Competition.

Among numerous entries from across the country, WJW’s submission received an Honorable Mention.

The Congress for New Urbanism launched their Missing Middle design competition to challenge architects to create high-quality and cost-effective housing for the middle market between the scale of single-family homes and mid-rise apartments for urban, suburban, or mid-sized downstate sites.

WJW is proud to have represented our Missing Middle submission at this event!
