Volunteer Committee delivers Pickling Kits to Hope Manor

Liezel, Connor, Maggie and Ian recently represented WJW’s Volunteer Committee by delivering food kits they put together for Hope Manor I!

Individual kits were created for each Veteran living at Hope Manor with ingredients for quick pickling of any vegetable from the Hope Manor garden, including an attached recipe card for easy suggestions. A recipe share was also created so that residents would be able to share favorite recipes with the community.

WJW is proud to continue our collaboration with VOA Illinois and the residents of Hope Manor!
