Connor and Liezel Volunteer at Martin Avenue Apartments

Halloween might be in the distance now that the holiday season is upon us, but these photos of a recent volunteer event at Martin Avenue Apartments are too good not to share!

At the end of October, Connor and Liezel visited Martin Avenue Apartments to volunteer at a Halloween Bingo event for the senior residents — the first big event in their newly-renovated activity room since Covid! Dressed as Shaggy and Velma (with a little stuffed Scooby-Doo), Connor and Liezel called bingo, picked the costume contest winner, and passed out prizes of Panettone, Halloween decorations, gift cards, and WJW mugs filled with candy. A spread of assorted festive treats was enjoyed, from donuts and cookies to bagels, veggies, and punch.

A wonderful time was had by all!
