WJW Donates Holiday Tree to Lurie Children’s Hospital

Jacquie and Connor led WJW’s design for a tree for J+J Flooring's Helping Hands event, a design competition that brings holiday cheer to patients at Lurie Children’s Hospital- and WJW was an award winner!

Sponsored by J+J Flooring, the design competition recruits local architecture and design firms to create festive trees for children who are hospitalized during the holidays.  WJW is pleased to share “My Little Library Tree,” featuring a rotating base of books, a 3’ tree decorated with bookmarks, and a rechargeable reading light on top. Maggie, Connor, and Marcelo delivered the library tree to the December 6 Helping Hands event, where it won the grand prize for best design! The Little Library Tree was then brought to Lurie Children's Hospital along with all the other decorated trees. Children were able to select trees to brighten their rooms for the holiday season.

Thanks to J+J Flooring for organizing this special event, and congratulations to all the firms involved in such a creative and festive event!
