Michelle and Connor attend Woodstock City Council Meeting

Michelle and Connor recently attended the June 6 City Council Meeting in Woodstock, Illinois.

On the docket was Union Place of Woodstock, which is an intergenerational community designed to enhance & energize Woodstock’s Downtown area with new senior living options, multifamily housing, commercial spaces, and plentiful, landscaped public and private open space. Not only did the City Council Vote to unanimously approve the preliminary Planned Unit Development (PUD) for the project, but the City Council also celebrated June as Pride Month with a proclamation and special spirited appearance from Woodstock Willie! Fun fact about Woodstock - it’s where the 1993 movie Groundhog Day was filmed.
